ZEUS was the King of the Gods and the god of the sky, weather, law and order, destiny and fate, and kingship.

He is called the father of gods and men, the most high and powerful among the immortals, whom all others obey. He is the highest ruler, who manages everything with his counsel, and the founder of kingly power, law, and order. 

Zeus' most distinctive attribute was his stylized lightning bolt which he wielded in his hand like a javelin (theoi.com). ⚡
